Can you believe it’s April already?! This year is flying by! We celebrated the first weekend of the month with a quick trip to Chicago. I’ll post more about the main reason we went soon! But for now, I’ll share photos mainly of the food we consumed—pizza, donuts and more pizza. (And I’m not complaining!) This was my second trip to the the windy city, and it definitely didn’t disappoint! It’s such a great city and I’m already looking forward to the next time we get to go back. We also lucked out with beautiful weather and even got to enjoy lunch outside on Saturday. (I still have the sunburn to prove it.)

One of the highlights of the trip: a pit stop at Firecakes and if you know my obsession with pretty donuts, then you’ll understand how happy this made me!

On Sunday, I went to watch the Shamrock Shuffle that Jason and our friends were running an snapped a few pictures before they started!
